Land Surveyor/Project Manager - Pleasanton, CA
We are looking for a new team member who desires a challenging and demanding work experience with a solid company with excellent advancement opportunities. Our client fields multiple survey crews working on various types of projects, including GPS control networks, heavy construction staking and contracting with public agencies for review/analysis of final maps, parcel maps, records of surveys and certificates of compliance documents.
The Land Surveyor/Project Manager will work on a wide range of public and private client projects for land developers, builders and local government agencies. This requires a full understanding of land development and land surveying processes on a variety of projects including commercial, residential, retail and government.
In addition to overseeing multiple projects and being responsible for communicating with clients, staff and field crews, and coordinating with public and private clients and contractors to deliver services timely and efficiently, the other duties and responsibilities will be to:-
Establish priorities and schedules for projects, field crews,staff and clients
- Provide quality assurance control and check and review all documents / maps.
- Interact cooperatively with survey professionals in offices throughout the Bay Area.
- Work directly with design engineers to prepare improvement plans.
- Oversee the completion of ALTA, topographic surveys, and field/office survey work
.- Draft and review legal descriptions.- Supervise the preparation of parcel, record of survey, right-of-way maps, etc.
- Draft and review legal descriptions.
- Prepare lot line adjustments, and map and deed research.
- Prepare map checks, process field data and staking drawings for field crews.
- Check/prepare cut sheets. |
| Habilidades: |
All qualified candidates will be required to have at least five (5) years of land surveying experience with preference given to prior field crew chief and office survey experience, in addition to:-
Mapping knowledge and experience managing field crews and support personnel
Ability to understand construction plans and maps.
- Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and LDD, TDS, and Trimble Geomatics.
- BS Degree in Geomatics required.
- California Registered Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or (LSIT) required.
