Description: Requirements:
- PE or NCARB/RA
- MS in structural engineering or architecture
- Masters or Professional Degree in Architecture or Engineering
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the field of Technical Architecture or Forensic Engineering
- Experience should include the following
- Renovation, restoration and remediation for projects of major complexity
- Exterior wall/roof, water proofing and hurricane damage
- Field experience assessing existing structural and building conditions
- Failure analysis and emergency remediation of structures
- Forensic/risk assessment, investigation
Familiarity with IBC,.ADA and other Building Codes
Experience working with attorneys in litigation cases to offer technical support
Experience with depositions and court testimony.
All candidates must demonstrate technical excellence, strong oral and written communication skills, and the ability to maintain client relationships and independently develop and maintain stature in the industry. Background also should include experience publishing technical articles and presentations at technical symposiums.
