Automotive Dealer Process Consultant Position Description
The Process Consultant is responsible for conducting dealership assessments on activities pertaining to customer satisfaction and ROI. The target groups for these activities include both the variable and fixed operations, as well as other personnel that are involved at customer touch points. The two priorities of the consultant will be to work with the dealership personnel in monitoring key business performance indicators while still linking these indicators to improve the overall dealership experience within each department.
The incumbent will be supported by a team of professionals in matters of scheduling, dealership assignment and support materials.
Responsibilities
• Conduct pre-assessments on targeted dealer prior to visits
• Conduct in-dealership analysis of respective departments
• Collect and interpret data from a wide variety of sources to help drive performance improvements
• Establish the links between opportunities and existing programs
• Conduct assessments using a prescribed analysis tool
• Provide Coaching to the dealership personnel to support improvements
• Work with the Principal Owner and hi/her senior management team by making recommendations that will assist in the attainment of two key areas ¡V profitability and customer service
• Create and present reports and materials that will support in attaining the set objectives of the dealership and its departments

Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education Required
Fluently bilingual is an asset, though not obligatory
„X Several years minimum experience in a senior management role in a dealership
„X Excellent oral presentation and strong written skills in both English and/or French
„X Willing to travel within an assigned territory in Canada
„X Ability to develop business cases and demonstrate return on investment
„X Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with delicate situations
„X Detailed knowledge of processes and practices in dealership setting
„X Advanced skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
„X Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator considered a strong asset
„X Strong working knowledge and experience with performance-based training systems
„X Strong Data Analysis Skills that will demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise
