Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Technical Writer / Graphic Designer to create Installation and User Guides for a leading edge technology.
The Client is looking for an “Ikea-like” design style.
You will be responsible for creating both the installation and user guides for the Electricians that will be doing major installations.
Past installs have included the CN Tower in Toronto, Canada; the London Eye in London, England and the Motor City Casino in Detroit, Mi to name a few.
Experience Needed:
Must have the ability to visually represent concepts
Writing to localization
Writing and Laying out installation guides for electrical components
Some exposure to Intelligent Power Sources
Experience using Client Specific Templates
Skills/Tools (Hardware/Software):
InDesign CS2 and CS3
FrameMaker
Additional Information:
InDesign experience is a MUST.
