The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who exhibits a keen interest in networking technologies, Linux and embedded operating systems. This is a position for you if you want to be a senior member of an exciting and growing team.
Reports To
This position will report to the Director of Product Architecture.
Responsibilities & Duties
Design and test new features
Interface with PLM to define new product features
Maintenance of bugs
Responsible for working with the verification group to produce ready for customers product
Mentor junior members of the software team
Have the opportunity to liaise with customers and embed IPeak technology into their products |

Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Required:
C/C++ programming experience
TCP/IP and Ethernet Technologies
Development of software libraries for embedded systems
Linux kernel development
Linux Networking technologies
Web development methodologies
Scripting language experience e.G., Perl, bash
Desirable:
Video conferencing and voice-over-IP protocol experience, e.G., H.323, SIP
Remote desktop protocol experience, e.G., PCoIP, RDP, ICA
SNMP experience
Windows Driver/Kernel experience
Qualifications
8 or more years relevant experience
University or College degree in a related field such as Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communications Engineering |
