Based in Toronto, Canada office / home office with 50% time in Madison, Wisconsin, 1 year contract, up to $100/hr
Provide technical leadership and team direction in support of mainframe migrations
Monitor and manage program cost, application and assignment of personnel resources to support the engineering, design, architecture validation, installation, and migration of services world-wide
Focus on delivering projects in the field of platform technologies including data center rationalizing (DCR) studies/opportunity assessments, server/storage/data center consolidation business case and assessments
Ability to perform infrastructure discovery and assessments and provide technical solutions.
Experience planning and executing consolidations, relocations and migrations
Convey a strong client facing skills and an acute understanding of consulting
Operate in both a functional Project manager capacity for existing/ongoing data center rationalization projects, and as sales/engineering support for newly identified opportunities.
50% on-site in Madison, Wisconsin and 50% on-site or home office work in Toronto, Canada
Provide sales/engineering support for technical proposals or ROIs

5+ years of experience with large scale migrations
5+ years of experience with team leadership for large projects
ASSETS
Mainframe, Micro Focus Cobol, Oracle, or Unix technology exposure
MS Office Suite and MS Project
Direct Active Directory migration experience
