Sequence is seeking a Senior Level Biologist / Natural Resource Practice Group Leader to head up a growing Biological Practice Group in Southern California.
The ideal individual would have 7+ years experience working as a Project Manager, Group Leader overseeing the development of CEQA/NEPA compliance documentation. This would include providing project management and technical guidance in the design, writing and development of the overall biological sections of reports, as well as, overseeing research, data collection, field surveys, habitat assessments, budgets, schedules and scopes of work. |
| Skills Required: |
Candidates must have a strong technical biological skill set (section 404, 401, California endangered species, and permitting), as well as, the abilities to conduct business development, client relations and participate in the operational management of the region. Individuals with strong regulatory and private development relationships; must be able to leverage those to expand the organizations project base in the region.
Requires a degree in Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, Environmental Planning or related discipline. Exceptional business development, project management, staff mentoring and written/verbal communication abilities desired. |
