Radiology Technologist
Inpatient Facility
Salary: $20-22/hr for 1-3 years experience, if you have over 5 years of experience negotiable up to $24/hr. If well trained,
certified, and experience in multi-modalities (CT, MRI) then we will consider a different pay range as well.
Relocation:
$1,000 – $3,000 depending upon experience
Responsibilities:
Assists in maintenance/management of the radiology departmental service and Quality Improvement Plan in accordance with standards established by the facility.
Performs and ensures patient safety while operating radiographic and fluroscopic examinations (including tomography), portable x-ray, and ultrasound machines and processes films;
assists in the maintenance of the Radiology Policy and Procedure Manuals.
Assists the physician in detection and localization of the patient’s anatomy using the appropriate technical factors, age specific positioning and shielding techniques appropriate
for infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics; utilizes appropriate knowledge and skills necessary.
Assists in the orientation and training of new personnel and participates in continuing education programs to enhance skills and maintain credentials; verifies doctors orders and patient ID when performing procedures.

Requirements for this job:
Associates in Radiology
Completion from an AMA approved radiology program
2-3 years experience with Diagnostic Imaging strongly preferred: ARRT
certification
BLS strongly preferred
Current license in state of practice
