Boise, Idaho. 1 year contract, up to $70/hr
• Participate in the data migration analysis and execution processes
• Lead the local reporting environment creation process
• Design, develop, test and execute data migration scenarios from mainframe to MIS (Oracle)
• Analyze and eliminate performance bottlenecks in connection with MIS data backend
• Participate in debugging activities in connection with MIS implementation
• Set up and configure Oracle high availability technologies and data replication
• Participate in administration of Oracle and SQL Server OLTP and DSS databases
• Participate in banking reporting development and testing
• Participate in elaboration of standards for backups & recovery, high availability and data security policies

| Skills Required: |
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as Oracle DBA in mission-critical environment
• Experience in data transformation scenarios, data migration from IDMS to Oracle
• Experience with Oracle high availability technologies (RAC, data guard, redo shipping) and data replication
• Strong knowledge of database installation, setup, creation, tuning and maintenance processes
• Strong knowledge of Database Disaster Recovery and High Availability techniques & implementations
• Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Data guard, Enterprise Manager, and RMAN
• Knowledge of Database Design and Modeling, along with use of Database Modeling tools
• Experience in the deployment of world-class IT infrastructure
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot and conduct root cause analysis and dependencies
• Experience with database security management and audit, performance management
ASSETS
• Experience with Micro Focus Cobol, UNIX, Mainframes, SQL Server or DB2
• OLAP experience with SQL Server Analysis Services & Reporting Services
