Mercury Insurance Group has a great opportunity for you to use your hands on mechanical skills in an office environment. If you are tired of wrenching but still want to keep your mechanical know how sharp, we may have the position for you. Our position involves working with our extended warranty product and working with customers and repair facilities over the phone. This is a full time position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The schedule is 8:00-5:00 Monday through Friday. In this position you will be working with customers when they report a problem with their vehicle. You will use your mechanical knowledge to diagnose the issue and determine warranty coverage. You will then work with the repair facility to determine payment and negotiate the claim. This position is a trainee position with promotion possible within 6 months. This is a 100% office job with heavy call volume. The starting pay rate is $14.00, may vary based on experience.
