Responsibilities:
- Through regular service calls in a specific territory, maintain and increase sales in hospitality establishments (new and current clients) and/or LCBO stores.
- Gain product placement on suitable restaurant wine lists.
- Support promotional / educational activities in LCBO stores.
- Organize and present promotional / educational events for the hospitality trade and consumers.
- Participate in sales meetings and training program.
- Report on sales results achieved compared with forecasted sales, on a timely basis.
- Communicate to senior management any issues and opportunities.
- Work independently, and with client representatives and demonstrators.
- Carry merchandising materials and cell phone during working hours.
- Some evening and weekend work is involved. |
| Skills Required: |
Qualifications:
- Keen interest in wine, spirits, beer. Ideal candidates will have taken wine appreciation courses.
- Bachelor degree or related business experience are preferred.
- Strong interest in sales / marketing as a career.
- Previous experience selling to retail or hospitality accounts is preferred.
- Computer skills with email, internet, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Ability to analyze statistics for sales targeting.
- Ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Advanced organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work on tight schedules.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
- Valid driver`s license and access to a vehicle.
- Able to lift and carry products which weigh up to 44 lbs. (if applicant is female) or up to 59 lbs. (if applicant is male). |
