Independent Learning Systems (ILS) provides complete and comprehensive training solutions. We specialize in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of training programs for various clients. As part of the full range of services provided, ILS designs, develops and delivers training for automotive manufacturers in Canada, US and Mexico. An opportunity is currently available at ILS for an Intermediate .NET Developer based in Ottawa.
Position description
Design and develop systems using .NET environment. Design, develop, and support database systems for SQL Server 2000/2005.
Qualifications necessary
Candidates must have at least 3 years experience in software development with Object Oriented technologies and programming languages.
Web services, C#/VB.NET, JavaScript, CSS, knowledge of ColdFusion
In depth knowledge of SQL and experience with SQL Server
Experience with Javascript. JQuery experience a plus
Exceptional written and oral communication skills in English and French
University diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
Additional assets
• eLearning/SCORM
• Development experience in Cold Fusion 5.0 (and higher)
• Flash Development
• Action Scripting
• XML
• Experience with source control repositories (SVN)
• Familiarity with DreamWeaver and MS Visual SourceSafe would also be an asset
• Good written and oral communication skills in French
