I am a 2008 Seton Hall University graduate with ambitions of returning to work in New York City.
Since graduation, employment in my field of study is difficult, so I fell back on my minor in law and pursued a new path in as a paralegal, earning my certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I chose Intellectual property, as my concentration, to go hand-in-hand with my business background. I work as paralegal at a local law firm.
While earning my certificate by day, I worked at CVS/Pharmacy by night and weekend. I currently work at CVS as a Shift Supervisor, promoted within four months of my hire. I have gained valuable experience with customer/client service, vendor relations and managerial operations such as time management, task management, problem solving, opening/closing the store, and cash management. I have developed sales skills by interacting with customers daily, up-selling products, and enhancing the sale.
With the knowledge I learned over the past two years, I feel I can be a valuable asset to your company.
Thank you in advance for your time. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I would appreciate the opportunity to review my qualifications in more detail in person.
